dunklegend Distinguished Apr 7, 2005 2,079 0 19,810 Nov 17, 2009 #11 have you tried with a different OS? You can download ubuntu's live CD and boot from your CD Rom, if it's hardware related it might give you an error that will give you a place to look for the bad part.
