Ram compatibe for msi motherboard

Hi all,
i want to know the compatability of the ram which are currently avilable for my motherboard,
now the ram we are getting is mostly 400+ and ddr2 there are shops some has ddr1 but the fsb is 400 is this correct to my motherboard
is ther any problem will occur if i brought the available ram in the market ie 400+ ddr1
currently my ram is 128 mb ddr 266 fsb,is there is any specilcation regarding the fsb
please help me soon

Your board will run the faster ddr at the slower speed, which is a limitation of the motherboard chipset. Pc2700 (333 fsb) is the fastest speed you can use, but pc3200 might work. Don't try high latency ram; it may not even post. Crucial or corsair are the best brands.
