Hi guys, i bought a PowerColor 4870 1 GB yesterday. I wanted to know how can i reduce power consumption of my graphic card?
Most of the times i'm not using high graphic games and my system is in idle status but as i know the graphic card uses about 140 watt while it's idle :ouch:
Is there any program for reducing power consumption of graphic cards?

Also i wanted to ask if i reduce graphic card's memory clock & GPU clock, does it damage the graphic card? Could it be a way for reducing power consumption?

Thank you for answering my questions
