Hey guys, I just bought an AMD Athlon II X3 435 and am looking to (or try unlock the 4th core and do some mild overclocking. I'm new to OC'ing so I was wondering what a good motherboard to get with the ACC component. What would you suggest?

Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

ASUS M4A79T Deluxe, ASUS CrossHair III, or MSI 790FX-GD70.

I'm planning to use my old case, which is a mATX case....i like my pc to be kind of small so its easier to move whenever I go between my apt and home...

yeah, that's the exact one i bought! works great! although the placement of some of the slots doesn't allow me to use my IDE optical drive, but oh well, i'll just get an external or something, or maybe ill see if it'll fit with a sata drive. With this mobo, I was able to unlock my athlon II x3 435 into a Phenom II X4 B35! works super smooth with windows 7 32-bit, couldnt ask for more from a 50 dollar processor!
