i was wanting some advice on a memory upgrade for my dell studio xps 8000 i7 860 cpu p55 mobo running windows 7 ultimate was looking for the best for my buck. should i go with tri channel or dual?
Go with the same speed of 2x2gb ddr3 you now have; use cpuid to get the speed and brand. I like crucial or corsair. No difference in speed between tri and dual channel ram.
