Everest reads my CPU temp 10° lower than H-monitor or CPU Temp.

I read somewhere that this might be regarding Tjmax (which is set to 100° in e.g. CPU temp but for my processor should be 90°C) but i still dont understand that. how can the max safe temperature influence the acutal readings?

Use "Core Temp" as some of the other temp. software gives incorrect data.

but what do i need to set as offset in core temp then bc TJmax is 90° instead of 100°? -10 or what? that then would correspond to the everest temps

The latest versions of coretemp and realtemp should report the correct tjunction max.
