Hello, I just had a computer built for me with the following specs, and the problem is that when I restart the computer sometimes the screen doesnt come on it just stays blank and I have to turn off the computer, unplug the screen from the computer and plug it back in again for it to work... its incredibly annoying to say the least. The screen I am using is a Dell 2045FPW

The problem is likely your RAM. Running four sticks of RAM is hard on the motherboard. Did you manually set the RAM speed/timings/voltage to the manufacturer's specs in the BIOS? Have you run Memtest86+ to test for RAM errors?

No I haven't done neither of those two things, I am quote clueless about the whole thing... Do you think that changing the ram would solve the problem?
 
I don't necessarily think you have faulty RAM. I just think it may not be set up correctly in the BIOS. You could try running the system with just two sticks of RAM installed, but that defeats the purpose of buying 8GB. I would do some Google searching on how to change the RAM settings in the BIOS for your motherboard.
