Hi,

I have a samsung r700 laptop with nvidia 256 6800 and want to upgrade the graphic card.

^ Well you are out of luck...Laptop graphics cards cannot be upgraded like desktops counterparts...they are actually soldered with the mainboard...

It is very possible to use an external graphics card.
