I have assembled PC with MSI KT4V MS-6712 Mother board, AMD Athlon processor, 512 MB DDR1 400 RAM, 40 GB HDD, CD ROM , OTHERS STD LIKE KEY BOARD, MOUSE, SPEAKER, ATI VGA card (AGP 8X), 400W SMPS ETC.
System worked well for 2 years. Now I am Facing booting problem--- machine doesn't boot. The process struck at the Real time Clock Testing time after switching on the power switch on cabinet -- as indicated by the 4 LED's of D-Bracket connected with the mother board. Pl give me the solution.

It sounds like the battery on the motherboard may have died. If replacing it doesn't work, you can go through this checklist that was created to troubleshoot booting problems.
