Hey everyone..!! Hopefully you can help me... I was constantly getting a blue screen on my HP a250n Desktop PC
which has Windows XP. I had fixed the problem temporarily by going back to a time when the computer was working properly by using safe mode. However the problem keeps coming back. I believe it to be a virus but I am not sure, and now that I was playing around with System Recovery I get a grey screen that says my NTLDR is compressed and to use Ctl-Alt-Delte to reboot. Except when I do this it goes to reboot but comes right back to the same screen. I may be wrong on the Letters it gives that are compressed but it does not reset itself when I do what it says... Only problem now is I messed around inside a little and now It gives me a message to insert REBOOT MEDIA,which I do not have What do I do now>?Please give me some Ideas I do not want to go to a store b/c I really don't have the money right now and also I have A LOT of music stored on it. Thank You All replies are grateful..

"You messed around inside" - Well, that could mean most anything.
Restore to factory settings - and lose everything !
Burn a Linux Rescue CD on working Computer and boot from that
to attempt repair.
Got a friend with XP CD that you could boot from ?
