I'm thinking about building a new computer rig but wanted to keep my power supply from my current pc. I want to buy 3 BFG GTX 285 and put them in tri sli. Would my 1000 watt power supply be sufficient if i had the following rig:

Intel Core i7
6 Gigs DDR3 1600 Ram
4 Internal Hard Drives
4 USB Devices
DVD/RW Drive
3 BFG GTX 285

i dont know all the info for your rig but given what i do know a 823watt should be all you need even for long term use

each GTX 285 by the way is 204watts you can find it on the nvidia website
