Run two Hard Disks...Choose which to boot

I just wired two hard Drives on my desktop....the thing is i wanna choose before the computer boots which hard drive to boot from....One runs Windows Xp and the other Ubuntu 10.10......what should i do?

Most newer motherboards support that through a function key like F8 or F12 at POST. Even my older Asus P5W DH Deluxe does. I usually leave a single hard disk connected when installing a new OS. Selecting which unit is the boot device is easy and removing a hard disk won't impact the other OS.
