Hi, sorry to ask a newb question...

I have 2 video card both are GeForce 7950 GT PCI-E Dual DVI HDTV DDR3 512mb. one i had from day one and the second i just got from e-bay. I've got NVidia Flexible SLI Bridge Connector Cable and I intaled the new card as shown in the nvidia website "http://www.slizone.com/object/slizone_howto_install.html" my computer spec is M/B Asus P5B Deluxe, intel core 2 Duo 2.66 ghz, 500 wt power supply, 2x 1g ddr2 ram and running on XP and Ubentu ( ubentu stoped working since I've installed the second card).

For some reson my compurt would not recgnise the second video card. I've also updated all my drivers and made sure that the new drivers did suppourt sli.

Can any one please help... I dont know how to get it working or if i have missed somthing... i know there might be something i'm doing wrong or missed.

Thanks for your time.

Only nvidia chipsets or the P55 and X58 from intel support SLI, it is not possible to run 2 nVidia cards on an LGA 775 board that does not have an nForce chipset. You will only be able to run one of those cards, and based on what i could find about the motherboard it only has 1 pci-e 16x slot so how did you manage to install 2 cards?

My motherboard has 2 pci-e slots one is blue and the other is black, I've manged to find a pictuer on the net "http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/shootout-core-2-corral,1359-4.html"... its the delux version of the p5b M/B that has intel P965 Express Chipset.

Sorry I should have included this information.

Thanks.

The 965 chipset is not SLi capable.
