I have a MicroCenter on my way home; I'm going to stop in there and see what I can find.

You'll need to send me shipping as well. If they really are $0.01, I'm buying them out.

I'll take 50 of those as well.
Given that those are 0.01$

I went- no dice. I was told they are 'apparently' a discontinued item and are only available at a couple of stores, the closest to me being Ohio. Kansas City area to Ohio isn't exactly 'close'. So, they are trying to get rid of the last few they have, which only exist sparingly at scattered locations.

Damn.

The said there were only a handful listed in their entire inventory system, so unless there's one down the street, really not worth the drive.

Just as well, it was only for 1/16 wall anyway.

Give it a shot...they made it seem like there were only a few left in their entire inventory across the country. If you can find a bunch, I call dibs on 10. :)

Grab some ID 1/2 and OD 3/4 if they have them for cheap. :p

I'm betting that he'll only find 1-2 at most. The guy made it seem like they were trying to scrape up the last few that were in the system and get them out. Coming from retail background years ago, sometimes it's cheaper for a company to sell something for a penny rather than to actually spend shipping to send it back for cash.

Probably. I need some compression fittings. 1/2 ID and 3/4 OD are like all sold out everywhere.

My local Ohio store might have had one or two pairs hiding behind the pumps in the back corner, then again it's could have been Danger Den branded instead. Inventory system lists them as sold out.

I haven't, no. I can't imagine that there is really anything wrong with them...they just don't say 'Bitspower' anywhere on the package. I kind of like low profile look, though.

Helped my wallet a few 20's.

When I'm done with my build though, its going to cost me an upwards of 1100$. And that's only counting water cooling equipment.
I wonder what kind of sales they have during Thanksgiving.
(Oh lordie, please have an awesome 50% Sale. I'll take even a 30!)

How do you spend $1100 on a water loop? (Ok, I know I could, but seriously...)

I'm counting my 3GB GTX580 FTW Hydro Copper 2.

(How the hell can you spend 1100 on JUST a WC loop... alone?)

That's easily 70% of the total cost right there...what's it running...$700?

Lets see, two Iwaki rd 30's, power supply for the Iwaki's two T virus res's, A Mora with stand and grill, 18 Gentle Typhoons, Tygon tubing, Cpu waterblock, 3 full cover waterblocks for vid cards, oops, you're already way over budget and we haven't added the fancy monitoring equipment.

Correct. 730 for the 3GB one, which is what I'm shooting for.

@Homeboy

What the hell are you going to do with 18 GT's? That's like... 320$ right there.

You would need to run at least quad GPUs and dual CPUs to test the thermal capacity of that rad (in theory). 530 watts per 320 (x3) is getting close to 1600 watts of potential.

But what I'm doing is just one slow 360 mm fan for a quiet build it won't dissipate quite that many watts, still for 150 bucks for fan and rad it will still handle anything I get in the future silently.
