I went- no dice. I was told they are 'apparently' a discontinued item and are only available at a couple of stores, the closest to me being Ohio. Kansas City area to Ohio isn't exactly 'close'. So, they are trying to get rid of the last few they have, which only exist sparingly at scattered locations.

I'm betting that he'll only find 1-2 at most. The guy made it seem like they were trying to scrape up the last few that were in the system and get them out. Coming from retail background years ago, sometimes it's cheaper for a company to sell something for a penny rather than to actually spend shipping to send it back for cash.

My local Ohio store might have had one or two pairs hiding behind the pumps in the back corner, then again it's could have been Danger Den branded instead. Inventory system lists them as sold out.

I haven't, no. I can't imagine that there is really anything wrong with them...they just don't say 'Bitspower' anywhere on the package. I kind of like low profile look, though.

When I'm done with my build though, its going to cost me an upwards of 1100$. And that's only counting water cooling equipment.
