USB WRITE PROTECT ERROR REMOVAL SOFTWARE

my memory stick worked fine and i had a friend attempt to download some data on it. during this process it ended up being write protected. i can view directory and can utilize the data but cant delete files or even format cause response is cannot format cause write protected.

from all I have read you will need to copy your files from the flash drive to your hard drive, then download this http://www.apacer.com/en/support/downloads/Repair_v2.9.1.1.zip, run it, and it should format your USB even if it is write protected. Good luck!!
