False CPU temperature

I have 2 computers:
1. 2600k, maximus iv gene-z and corsair h80
2. 2600k p8z68-v, corsair h100.

Both of them show false CPU temp in BIOS. It says about 24 degrees CPU and 27 degrees motherboard when overclocked to 4.5 GHz. I think it's impossible. What's happining?

Of course it would only show 24C in the BIOS. You aren't even doing anything.

Try downloading a temperature monitoring program, run Prime95- and check your temps again.

Edit: Run Prime 95 for about 1 hour. Then check temperatures at the end.
