My girlfriend's 4 year old laptop has shown a 1 pixel, light green, vertical line at all times for a week. When she started using her laptop today, a large black box showed up with thick white lines going through it.
I have searched for solutions, but am really clueless here. Maybe her video cable is loose somehow? She just moved into college and it may have gotten bumped around. She also NEVER closes her laptop, and her screen is constantly on. Perhaps this has fatigued the screen to the point of breaking?
Any ideas?
