I was wondering if my http://www.intel.com/products/motherboard/D975XBX/ is compatible with DDR3 video cards and not just DDR2? I was going to go buy a new graphics card today. It is PCI-E

If the motherboard has a PCI-E x16 slot, then it will work. The type of memory used on the motherboard and on the video card are not tied. I use DDR2 memory on my motherboards while DDR3 (or faster) is used on the video cards.
