Flashed bios

I flahsed my bios on an motherboard from an HP beucase i wanted to overclock. now when i done it, nothing appers on the screen, My GPU (ati 4870) Lights up red. and when i turn of with the power button the HDDs and the PSU keeps running until i unplug the power. when i replug the power it turns on right away and does the same thing.. I really fucked it up . is it anyway to get the motherboard alive again? i mean nothing comes up on the screen. :/

Does your motherboard have integrated video? Are there any other video outputs on the computer? Plug your monitor into them and see if they are working.

Otherwise, please list more of your system specs, especially motherboard.

Try removing all RAM and the GPU and turn it on. You should hear the beeping noise for the missing RAM. if not, reset the CMOS, check your mobo manual on where to find the cmos jumper. Then do it again, turn on your mobo without anything including RAM and GPU (make sure though that the system speaker is in) if it doesn't make a beeping noise then your MOBO is busted.

Never flash a bios unless you NEED something that is in the new one, you don't currently have

Was the computer fully built with a running os before you did the flash

If so have you done ANYTHING else to the computer either prior to or after the flash

Many new motherborads come with dual bios for just this case if you have it and how it works will depend on manufacturer. Consult your owners manual.
