I have just moved into a rented house and my 32" HDTV is in the front room downstairs. I have my PC with 22" Samsung connected in my room upstairs with no TV arial in reach. I was just wondering if there was a decent TV tuner I could buy for no more than £30 that wouldn't require a coaxial cable from the wall.

I'm have no experience with TV cards so I don't know what I'm looking for. Any suggestions would be very helpful.

Have you tried Scan? I use a Compro E800 myself but that does require an aerial which was included in the box.

I don't really know what I'm looking for though. And I need one that works wirelessly preferably or is there something I can buy lik an antenna that will given strong enough signal?

Something like this just plugs into a spare USB port and the aerial is included, it doesn't get much more simple than that.

Would that aerial be good enough to receive all the freebies channels with good quality?

That depends on where you live and the signal strength in your area, if needed a signal booster can be used.
