NIC card difference for Ethernet switch and gigabit switch

hi now am using 2950 switch have the speed of 10mbps in that i can receive a 6 ip Tv at a time . If i use the 3750 switch i can receive the same only there is no difference . Why?

Because your Internet speed probably is less than 10 Mbps.
