Verbatim hard drive wont read

I plugged the hard drive it into a windows laptop and now it doesn't read on my Mac, have never had a problem doing this before? It is spinning fine not making any weird noises etc, working as usual but won't read on either computer anymore? Please help

Is it showing in disk management or My computer? If it is you could try uninstalling it and re-installing.

No, can't find it anywhere is really strange. Is a bit disconcerting as have about 650gb of stuff on there...:-(
