I got the same speed on my Phemon II 965BE (C3 stepping) by just turning up the multiplier to 20X, and my system is solid as a rock

Specs:
AMD Phenom II 965BE C3 Stepping (3.4GHz stock) running at 4GHz
Gigabyte GA-MA785G-UD3H motherboard
2 pair of XMS2 — 2GB Dual Channel DDR2 Memory Kit (TWIN2X2048-6400) for 4GB (stock speed)
1 BFG 8800GTS/OC 640MB GPU@650MHz GDDR3@1.8GHz
Seagate Barracuda ST250DM000 SATAII Hdd
ATI TV Wonder™ HD 650 Combo PCI Express®
SoundBlaster Audigy 2 sound card
Gigabyte 3D Galaxy Liquid Cooling System mod'ed with a DDC350 pump (W/ an XPSC acrylic Res top) and a RX240 Dual Fan Radiator w/ 4 fans in push/pull config
Cpu idles around 28-30C and 35C at max

-ouch1

BTW I forgot t mention that this is all housed in a Thermaltake Tsunami Dream case with a Tt Toughpower 650W PSU

I was thinking of trying to push it to 4.3GHz tonight to see if it is still stable. Dunno since there is a RedWings game on tonight though.
