I get 70-80 degrees celcius when playing world of warcraft; 50-60 when idling.
Can anyone tell me if 70-80 C is too hot? Or is it safe?

PLEASE REPLY!!!

Generally GPUs run hotter than CPUs, 80-90 is usually considered to still be in the safe range. Considering it is a passively cooled GPU i wouldnt consider that too bad either. That is almost certainly within its safe range but you may want to consider improving airflow in your case to reduce its idle temperature a bit because that does seem a bit high so i imagine your case is sitting around 40C.

Those temps are safe. It might be too hot to touch, but you don't have to worry about it burning up or anything ^_^

That should be ok, I know it would be for ATI cards. But if you are worried, make sure airflow is good in your case and dust buildup isn't too much. You could also add a fan blowing over it, but really that would probably be overkill.

Yeah, those idle and load temps are fine for that GPU. You'll know if you've reached overheating thresholds if you start getting artifacts and then freezes.
