Chances are it has timings something like 9-9-9-24 or higher . Lower is better and this ram Patriot Viper 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 $84 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... is a lot better . $150 for a 4850 is not good buying . It doesnt matter how OC'ed it is because even a stock 4870 will be quicker and CHEAPER POWERCOLOR AX4870 512MD5 Radeon HD 4870 $116 after MIR Special edition, S.T.A.L.K.E.R game included http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... batuchka September 1, 2009 4:18:43 AM Damn $150 for a HD 4850 is a murder and a half so i agree : either get a HD 4870 or a 512mb Sapphire HD4850 for about $95 free ship http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... depending on how much GPU horsepower u need @@ If you open to green camp there is also this $110 free ship GTS 250 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... Oh ya +1 on those Patriots hehe megamanx00 September 1, 2009 4:55:27 AM That's like 3x better, if not more, than your old rig. Anyway for a 1GB 4850 go with this SAPPHIRE Vapor-X 100273L Radeon HD 4850 1GB $129.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... As for the CPU I guess you can follow gkay's suggestsion. If you have the money though the 945 is only $165 at newegg, while the 955 BE is at $189 lonewlf September 1, 2009 11:53:29 AM so this new system is 3x better...wow sounds good Can't find your answer ?
