Can someone tell me how to 'reseat' a key top that has lifted off a Thinkpad
( A22e ) keyboard? The key looks fine with its hinged assembly but I cannot
work out the correct procedure for putting the keytop back on.

Thanks,

I just line up the clips on the keytop to the little ..
er.. "spindles" on the hinged assembly and press down.
I have no idea what that thing would be called. :)

I think he means a key top from an individual key, not the
whole keyboard..
