hey i got a nvidia quadro fx 1100 128mb and a nvidia quadro fx 550 256mb card, Now which one would be faster ? Did a lil research but nothing really came up as they are old cards.

the pc has

intel pentium 4 2.8ghz
2gb of ram
one of those graphic cards not sure which one yet thats why im asking :)

counter strike should run fine on it right?

1028x728 res i would play on, anything else you need to kno ask me

The 1100 is a workstation card, the 550 would be better.

 

EDIT: the 550 is also a workstation card, neither of them are meant for gaming.

Uhm, both of them are workstation cards. They're both Quadros.

Neither of them are good for gaming. Plus, the 550 is a PCI-express card, and the 1100 is AGP card, so only one kind will fit. And, since it is a Pentium 4, I'm going to assume it's an AGP system, so your only choice is for the 1100.

What does the PC already have in it? Also, is it a custom build, or was it store bought? It may not have a strong enough power supply to be able to handle either of the cards.

yah its all custom well i got some more cards hold up let me find them and ill let you know what other ones i have

Just get a secondhand Nvidia 4xxx or 5xxx series for 10 bucks or something like that.
