I'll be putting in 12GB, so I'm wondering if it's going to be hard to hit those numbers on the Mushkin, and maybe just go with the Kingston.

Is it really worth it to go for the lower CAS timings when selecting memory?

The motherboard will be an ASUS P6T, with an i7-920. I will be going for a mild OC, so should I go for lower CAS or higher frequency?

To start with I'm going to use a large RAM drive.

I'm also going to be doing a lot of software development (as well as playing games). It's not uncommon for me to have two virtual PC's up and running.
