Safe mode

i went to msconfig after an issue with the computer not starting nay icons on boot up, gave a linksys error message also, then nothing starts,.
i could get to the task manager so i ran msconfig and attempted to start in safe mode,
when i boot now it is in a loop and i cannot get to safe mode or to windows to change msconfig to normal start up
is there any way to change msconfig,,,,,without doing it in windows,,

Have your tried tapping F8 during boot?

use F8 to get into safemode, not msconfig
