My old 8800GTS died on me and I RMAd the sucker to EVGA and received a nice 9800GTx SWEET!
Or so I thought... I have read all over the Internet about this bug affecting the p95 chipset. I have the p965 chipset so not sure if that is the same thing.
Since it's a Dell XPS 410 the BIOS settings are locked I can't adjust the voltage or anything like that to try and correct the issue.
My old GFX card worked fine! I have updated the BIOS, Cleared CMOS, updated chipset drivers, Reset the Bios (battery method) Cleaned and reinstalled drivers and even the OS!
I have emailed EVGA but expect to get the run around. Dell wont even talk to me unless I give them more money.
Damn Dell and their friggen crap BIOS! (grumble grumble)
Any Ideas?
