Motherboard/Memory Compatibility?

I already ordered these parts, and they have arrived. I've yet to assemble my pc because I wanted to check into a few things first.

I was reading over some specs in the motherboard manual and it didn't mention the support of DDR 1600 ram, which mine is. So I might end up sending this ram back. Can you guys confirm this for me thanks. It seemed like really nice ram too

A motherboard that supports DDR3-2200 will support DDR3-1600.
