Black screen after overclock

Hello,
i tried over clocking my cpu and now no display comes tried re moving cmos battery and interchanging and reverting the jumper nothing works. my system specs:-
intel core 2 duo
2gb ram
1gb nvidia 8400gs
ecs g31tm motherboard
amibios

What did you change for overclock it?

If you get A black screen it means one of two things, you overclocked to high and not enough voltage is getting to it, it may be your RAM not just your CPU. Or if your trying to get like 5Ghz out of it (obviously you've got a problem) its just to much for it.! To reset pullout the little watch battery on your MOBO to remove the black screen and unplug from the wall for about a minute.
