533 MHZ RAM in a 750i

I am going to upgrade my motherboard and i am looking at an nforce 750i mobo, i have 2 sticks of 533 mhz RAM and i am guessing i can make it work in the motherboard since it is still ddr2. am i correct?

depending on the cpu will probably end up downclocking the cpu to make the ram run. Ram is cheap, just do it right and buy the right stuff.
