Hi. I had just purchased a ASUS Maximus III Formula LGA 1156. However had to return it twice due to being defective. so now i got this credit and i do not want another one. i need a good motherboard.

MY COMPONENTS ALREADY PURCHASED

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (4 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)

XFX HD-585A-ZNBC Radeon HD 5850 (Cypress Pro) 1GB Black Edition 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP

XFX P1-750B-CAG9 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS SILVER Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Intel Core i5-750 Lynnfield 2.66GHz LGA 1156

ASUS CD/DVD Burner Black SATA Model DRW-24B1ST X2

ASUS VH232H Glossy Black 23" 5ms Widescreen Full HD 1080p LCD Monitor w/Speakers & HDMI

I WILL NOT BE OVERCLOCKING

USED FOR MOVIES AND GAMEING

HOWEVER I WANT A WELL BUILT BOARD THAT CAN TAKE THE HEAT IF I WERE TO OVERCLOCK.

HERE ARE THE TWO I AM LOOKING AT

BIOSTAR TPOWER i55 LGA 1156 Intel P55 ATX Intel Motherboard $154.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

ASUS SABERTOOTH 55i LGA 1156 Intel P55 ATX Intel Motherboard $209.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

THE REASON I WANT A WELL MADE BOARD THAT I AM NOT OVERCLOCKING IS THE SIMPLE FACT I LIVE IN THE DESERT WHERE IT CAN GET 110 IN THE SUMMER. SO I FIGURE IF THE BOARD IS DESIGNED TO HANDLE HEAT IT WILL PREFORM BETTER.
ANY THOUGHTS OR SUGGESTIONS?
WHICH SHOULD I CHOOSE...?

I have no idea how much experience you have assemblying computers. You might have had a memory stick bad with the asus board or a power supply that was not compatable with your board. I use a biostar board currently, so I would recommend that if you don't want another asus. But if asus is the only brand you can send in for repairs from your part of the world, then get another asus.
