More about sata drive recognised bios
  1. You have both the SATA and power cables connected properly?

Ya and the drive is also spinning and when i connect it to another pc it detects it ..
  3. I would change the settings in BIOS for your SATA controler... I like AHCI mode.
  4. Depending on the HDD model, you may be able to limit its interface speed to 1.5Gbps via a jumper.

Otherwise I would apply the latest BIOS update to your motherboard.
