Same Mem, Diff Voltage and Speeds

I have 2x1024 Corsair XMS3DHX 1600Mhz with a latency of 9-9-9-24 and 1.8 voltage (ver3.1), and then bought 2x2048 Corsair XMS3 1600Mhz with a latency of 8-8-8-24 and a 1.65 voltage (ver3.1). Is adjusting the 4GB sticks to a voltage of 1.8 and the DHX version to a latency of 8-8-8-24 going to work out for my system? I would think the typical voltage of 1.8v would be acceptable for the non-DHX version. I am using a P6T mobo with ofc an i7-920. Just throwing it out there for some feedback. Thanks!

More about same diff voltage speeds
  1. RAM modules should be same mfr., speed, latencies, and power. Be prepared for some frustration as you set up your board.
