Video problem..

not sure if this is the right place to put this question but, i have a HP pavilion a1224n and when i turn it on it will load normaly but after some time the screen would get these weird lines an eventually crash and restart. i dont know if the graphics card on the mobo is fryed or if there is something else wrong with it?

You might want to download a hardware monitor and check your temperatures. Also if you haven't cleaned it for awhile it would be a good idea to get the dust out. It sounds like it might be a heating problem. Sorry i can't be more help.

well it started happening after i updated the computer. i don't know if thats the same thing.

Try rolling back your graphic drivers

not quite sure what that is? my computer is completely stock so i dont think it has a stock grapichs card or driver

OK. I think you need to reboot your PC.
