I am considering a purchase of this computer but it does not have any system or drive CD's for the XP-Pro software installed. It has a 750Gig hard drive and 4megs of memory and is refurbished.
Any suggestion as to what I would need do if it crashes. How could I reinstall the OS and drivers?

How much are they charging for it? Can you link to it? There are significantly faster processors out there and you could probably build a system for about 400 without OS that would perform similar so unless you are getting it for like 2 or 300 its probably not worth it.

If it crashes you will need to buy a copy of windows which will cost you about $100 to reformat it.

Then its illegal then? You should have a COA and a disk of some sort. Be aware they some OEMs do give you a restore partition which you can use if your OS gets hosed.
