AMD Athlon II Regor 2.8 needs a heatsink

Right, I'm drawing a blank. I just got my oem AMD Athlon II X2 240 Regor 2.8GHz 2 x 1MB L2 Cache Socket AM3 65W Dual-Core Processor today and neglected to order the fan as well. I tried to do it just now and realized that I know nothing about AMD socket types. The CPU is an AM3, but I'm finding very few fans that support the socket type.

My question: will an am2 socket heatsink fit my am3 processor? If not, can someone recommend the cheapest (not worthless) heatsink and fan I can use?

Any heatstink that fits the am2/939... board will fit the am3 socket. The actual socket is the same size. You are not getting a heatsink to fit the cpu actually. You're getting one that fits the socket on the mobo.
