I am currently thinking about configuring my system into followings.

Option 1
Primary HDD - SSD ( will be installing O/S and games )
Secondary HDD - HDDs ( Samsung Spinpoint 1TB) ( will be putting movies, musics, data )

or

Option 2
Primary HDD - RAID 0 ( Using two Samsung HDDs I have ) ( will be installing O/S games )
Secondary HDD - 2TB Storage HDD ( Thinking about Samsung F4 Ecogreen ) ( will be putting movies, musics, data )

Will adding a secondary HDD ( Samsung F4 Econgreen ) affect the speed of primary HDD in any scenario?
Someone told me that computer will follow the speed of slowest hdd.

In other words, will my computer run at the speed of slow-ass 2TB F4 Eco-Green Hdd( which runs at 5800rpm )
even if my primary hdd is setup on raid 0?

Thanks.

No... adding the second (third) hard drive will not effect the speed of the RAID.

If your statement of "that computer will follow the speed of slowest hdd" than there would be no reason to get a SSD with a second hard drive. The SSD would run at the speed of the hard drive.
