I get an ntfs.sys BSOD whenever booting from my HDD.

I have this 30GB Maxtor hard drive model 5T030H3, and whenever I try to boot from it, I just get a typical blue screen error. It says the problem has something to do with ntfs.sys. I've tried booting from live CDs, running FDISK, and other stuff, but I still get the blue screen before they even start. What do I do?

If you are running windows 7 boot from the win 7 disc and run startup and repair. If you are running win XP boot from the disc and run "R" for repair.
