Hi folks,

for my i7 gaming rig, I just found out that the corsair 750tx is out of stock, and it will no longer be shipped in.
Instead, they are bringing in the 750HX.

Can anyone be so kind as to give me any feedback they might have on this PSU please?

i7 920
giga ud4p
6gig OCZ plat 1333
sapphire 4890 toxic (may Xfire in half a year)
150 gig V-raptor
1tb WDC black
windows 7

don't need LCD or any peripherals.

oh boy that just makes my day :D
thanks for the quick reply!

The silencer is slightly less powerful (60 amps instead of 62 on the 12 volt rail) and is slightly less efficient (80 plus vs 80 plus silver) but is also a good deal cheaper on newegg. Not sure where you are that the 750tx got discontinued, but either the silencer or the 750HX are great PSUs.

you guys are awesome, thanks!!

i'm in Singapore and I think the HX and the PCP&P are about the same price. (S$10 difference, which equates to about 6USD)

i'll check the warranty and if they're the same, i'll get the corsair HX, otherwise i'll go with the one with more warranty :)
