My system and 5870

guys, running this system asus p5e deluxe quad core p4 2.66 ghz at 3.3 (cant remember the actual model q4850 maybe) 4 gig 1066 ddr2 will my system botleneck if i upgrade to the 5870 when it comes out, currently running a 4870 single comfortably

pentium quad core 2.66@ 3.2 ghz, (cant remember exact model)
4 gig ddr2 1066

will a 5870 bottleneck my system if i decided to upgrade?

sorry about the vague/double post.
the cpu is a Q9450 2.66@3.2ghz

the alternate is just adding a 4870x2 and running tri fire with the single 4870, it is probably a cheaper option, what would the performance variation be. baring in mind im only running a 24" monitor. also does anyone have any experience with tri fire as opposed to cross or quad
