Even cheaper then newegg. I just upgraded my 15GB old crappy hdd. 200GB is a big relief from constantly cleaning my hdd everyweek. Check it out at

A few dollars cheaper but that’s still a decant price.

It has a 1 year warranty. That's not a good deal at all. Get the Western Digital drives.

Does Western Digital a lot better than maxtor?

Reply to d0z

I find it to be the opposite, I trust maxtor only, but whatever makes yer day.

It's not about good or bad, it's about which gets you rich and laid faster.

They both make good drives. However, WD has better prices and a 3 year warranty on all their drives with 8MB of cache. That in my opinion makes them better.

WD's tend to be cheaper for smaller sizes.

Not sure. I've had a handfull of 20GB WD and Maxtor drives. They both tend to be equal. I've lost one of each.

Long time ago, a PC vendor stuck in a MDT drive instead of a Western Digital. Drive was defective after a year, since then I usually stick with Maxtor.
