Hi,
I have 58SO desktop board and Corsair XMS3 enabled ram. I am now enabling the XMS profile in BIOS. In the automatic XMS profile the default voltage selected is 1.66 V but the strict max recommendations for 58SO is 1.65V. So should I reduce the voltage to anything less than 1.65V and by doing so will it create any kind of problems ?

Thanks

Hi and welcome to Tom's forum.

You can try and see what happen, if your system isn't stable return it to 1.66V. 0.01V will not kill anything ins your rig.

Thanks. This website is awesomely maintained and all the credit goes to you moderators.

And regarding the question I will keep that voltage as 1.66 coz the just previous voltage available in bios is 1.62.
Thanks for the reply :)
