I installed a GeForce 8400 GS video card in a dimension 4600 with integrated video card. The device manager shows that the card is working properly but I don't get any video from either the VGA or DVI connections.

I figured it out. All I had to do was go into BIOS and change the Video Card to Auto from integrated.
