Phenom II X4 955 BE compatibility issues with these 2 motherboards?

So I'm grabbing a Phenom II X4 955 BE later this week, and my choices for mobos are:

1) Gigabyte GA-790XTA-UD4P, which is $139.99 USD on Newegg;

2) ASUS M4A79XTD EVO 790X/SB750 ATX, which is $109.99 USD after rebate on Newegg.

I've been reading that the ASUS has compatibility problems with the 955 BE, but they seem to be from late 2009. I haven't found anything about any problems with the Gigabyte board. Does anyone know if the ASUS is still having problems, or if the Gigabyte board has problems?

Nevermind, finding the ASUS isn't shipping with the latest BIOS sometimes, so going with the Gigabyte.
