Can I pair a GTX 260 or GTX 285 with a 9800 GT? I want to upgrade my Graphics but not sure what way to go with this. I have 9800 GT SLi 512 Mb. and want to add more punch.

No, you cant SLI like that. What resolution monitor are you running? What power supply? What motherboard? There may be more restictions on your upgrades than just the SLI ones. A GTX285 is plenty for most resolutions out there, but it is also rather expensive, i suggest a GTX275 or a 4890 or when it comes out a 5850, any of them should be plenty.
