Hi all, first post - I just joined to ask these questions (though no doubt more will come)
So, which one is best M4A79XTD EVO or M4A79T DELUXE?
Si have got it down to:
M4A79XTD EVO - has only two PCIe x16 and 2 x1, 2 PCI slots, a 4 pin CPU power socket (more on that later), but is a newer model and has 2 more SATA ports and memory clock of up to 1800 (O.C)
M4A79T DELUXE - had 4 PCIe x16 and 2 PCI slots, a 8 pin CPU power socket, and other stuff. its about $80 more though.
The main question I have though is, how much difference does it make between having a 8 pin and 4 pin CPU power socket? I understand what it does but I would like to know if it will make running quadcores or 140w CPUS a bit harder/hotter?
I have just found this board too - Asus M4A77TD PRO - thoughts? it seems too cheap
Thanks
