Hi,

My comp started to freeze recently for no apparent reason. It would suddenly freeze and my mouse and keyboard went off immediately after so I can't move them at all. The system also freezed and there was a loud continuous squeak sound from the speakers as well during the freeze. I had to hold the power button to reboot again. Does anyone know what the problem is? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

The first things to look at for a freezing problem are RAM, PSU, and temps. What are your complete system specs?

I had something similar happen. I reinstalled my graphics drivers and the problem has not returned.
